Getting to know DBC

For those who haven't visited our church, I'd like to let you all know that this church has some amazing, Godly and hard working people in it's congregation.  Just recently our ladies ministry hosted the annual Mother-Daughter Banquet to a crowd of 91 ladies.  Music, a skit, wonderful ministry and a meal were enjoyed.  That kind of event takes planning and prayer and a LOT of work to pull off.  The Fellowship hall was beautifully decorated, the food was plentiful and delicious and the speaker, musician and skit performers were all a hit.

I am telling you all of this because as a pastor, I am beyond blessed by the dedication and love the members of this church have towards their Lord and others who come into our midst.  I fully realize that kind of blessing comes from real and tangible relationships with the Lord.  Loving our neighbors as ourselves is a command from the Lord these people take seriously.  Being generous with their time and talent is also a hallmark of the congregation of DBC.  We aren't a super-sized congregation so we have plenty of room for more people to join us.  We aren't formal or fussy, judgemental or demanding but we are passionate about serving the Lord and our community  by sharing the Gospel with those who would come to receive it.   I also want to say we don't have assigned seats and you'd be welcomed like family to join us in worship the next Sunday you're available.

As always, may our Lord bless you always!
