A New Look!
Greetings everyone! Welcome to the NEW look of Dahlgren Baptist Church.
This is an exciting time despite Covid, and as Pastor here, I see the opportunities to reach people in this format like never before.
The writer of Ecclesiastes wrote, "for everything there is a season.." and I couldn't agree more. This is a season of planting good seed in new soil, a time of preparation for a harvest still to come and I am really hopeful that you will take the time and connect with us on this new platform and see what God can do not only in your life but in the life of Dahlgren Baptist Church.
Just like so many churches during this time, we have faced hardships, buried loved ones and altered our worship in the name of safety. We haven't stopped preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, things have just changed. Indeed it is a new season for the Church universal but it isn't a dying season, it's a growing season!
As you dig into this new look for DBC, I encourage you to consider sharing what you find interesting, study through our Bible reading plans (coming soon!) and connect yourself to this loving church however best you can. Some of you may not be local and we certainly appreciate your interest in the church. We want you to stay connected, consider DBC YOUR home church away from home and support this ministry however the Lord leads you.
In closing, now more than ever we encourage you to follow Jesus. It is times like these that try men's souls but there's only one Savior, Jesus that can save us! If you would like more information on being saved, a closer walk with the Lord or any spiritual matter please contact me here and I will reply as soon as possible!
